COVID-19 Relief

In the series of donations to support Coronavirus relief, Opus Regulatory has provided financial assistance to the following causes:

United Way:

Direct Relief

Innovation at United Way is now taking another step forward. We’re launching COVID-19: Invisible Problems. We are all deeply saddened that the virus is causing tragic loss of life, lost jobs and severed connections. But COVID-19 is also creating numerous problems that could go unnoticed, such as the loss of a support group that helps people manage addictions. One challenge often leads to another.

As part of Invisible Problems, United Way’s Innovation Team is creating a new digital platform that will allow users to submit, prioritize and solve problems through crowdsourcing. It’s a new way for us to engage people in the issues they are facing in their communities and help solve them collectively using today’s tools. To that end, tell us what you’re hearing and seeing in your communities. Visit unitedway.ideascale.com and submit a problem that needs our attention.

Direct Relief:

Direct Relief

Direct Relief is working in overdrive to get protective gear and critical care medications to as many health workers as possible, as quickly as possible, with emergency deliveries leaving daily for medical facilities across the U.S.

Since January, Direct Relief has delivered more than 4 million N95 and surgical masks, more than 2 million gloves, and tens of thousands of protective suits and other items to help safeguard health workers.

Direct Relief is coordinating with public health authorities, nonprofit organizations and businesses in the U.S. and globally to provide personal protective equipment and essential medical items to health workers responding to coronavirus (COVID-19).

Meals on Wheels:

Meals on Wheels

The Meals on Wheels COVID-19 Response Fund helps local communities across the country meet the increased demand for nutritious meals that can keep our seniors safe and healthy. Seniors are at the greatest risk from the COVID-19 pandemic. Local Meals on Wheels programs are on the front lines of the effort to keep them safe, and they need your help now more than ever. Please support their urgent need for the funds and supplies that can give them a fighting chance.

Johns Hopkins COVID-19 Patient Care:

Johns Hopkins Medicine

Johns Hopkins Medicine serves a large population in Maryland, and draws patients regionally and nationally who come to us for the best care. Our clinical services are among the world’s best, and we are known for leadership in patient safety and emergency and critical care medicine. Your gift can support the purchase of hospital supplies, protective gear for clinical staff, and oxygenation and respiratory equipment; direct patient care including additional services and staffing; and community prevention and outreach.

Project C.U.R.E.'s response to COVID-19:

Project C.U.R.E. is making our resources available to the hospitals and first responders in our C.U.R.E. Communities of Denver, Nashville, Phoenix, Houston, Philadelphia, Kansas City, and Chicago. We are donating all of our masks, gloves, PPE’s and other items needed to fight the COVID19 to these heroes. One hundred percent of the items that individuals and companies give to the local fight against COVID19 will be given to the brave men and women on the front lines of this fight in our communities here in the U.S. We look forward to the day when this is over, and this struggle is a memory. Until then, Project C.U.R.E. will continue to change our world. Right now, our world is right next door.

The AFYA Foundation

Afya's mission is to improve global health by rescuing surplus medical supplies and delivering them to underserved health systems around the world. Our donations will help AFYA ship vitally needed medical supplies this week to Greater New York City hospitals. Supplies include masks, face shields, eye protection, procedure gloves, disposable gowns, disinfectant wipes, and hand sanitizer.

Mount Sinai Health System

The Mount Sinai Health System is mounting a response to the COVID-19 outbreak that is urgent, comprehensive, and innovative. New York now accounts for approximately half of all cases nationwide, and Mount Sinai, as the largest health system in the region, is playing a critical role in combating this pandemic.
